MagicQ Remote Control
ChamSys MagicQ systems provide leading edge control of stage lighting, LED pixelmapping and media systems. The MagicQ Remote enables remote control of MagicQ systems including MagicQ consoles and MagicQ PC Wing solutions.
MagicQ Remote supports focusing with pan and tilt controls, colour adjustment using the rainbow colour picker and rig testing through the unique MagicQ Execute Window. Palettes, Groups and Cues can be edited and updated.
ChamSys MagicQ software supports up to 102,400 channels (200 DMX universes) and is available to download and use for free from ChamSys website www.chamsys.co.uk.

To revert to the normal version scroll down to the "You're a beta tester" section at the bottom of the Play Store listing and select Leave.
Please note, we cannot guarantee that beta versions will be stable and they should not be used in a critical show environment.
If you have a black screen at startup make a two fingered swipe gesture across the screen to switch out of Install Mode.
• The current execute page number is shown on the Exec button.
• Swiping left/right will decrement/increment the current Execute page displayed. (Requires MagicQ v1.9.2.0)
• Focus Window encoders now display the attribute values. (Requires MagicQ 1.9.4.2)
• Window View grid cells now display large MagicQ icons when the Icon size setting in MagicQ is set to Large. (Requires MagicQ 1.9.4.2)
• When emailing ChamSys Support the app will attempt to download a zip file from the MagicQ console containing log files. (Requires MagicQ 1.9.4.0)
• To improve MagicQ discovery a Scan button has been added to the Connection View.
• In the Connection View devices not running a MagicQ version older than the latest Stable will be highlighted in red.
• If a Console's IP address changes and it is already listed in the app's Connection View then the app will recognise it as the same console.
New Features:
• Recent devices in the Connection View that were connected to using a QR code will now attempt to switch to the correct WiFi network when the device is selected.
• The Email Support function now provides help on common issues.

Execute Window Images appearance mode has been merged with a new Coloured appearance mode which displays the same view as the Coloured appearance on MagicQ.
The Execute Window can now handle grids larger than 20x20.
The Position Window will now show all Group and Position palette items when Record is selected, allowing empty palette items to be selected. The palettes will also now show items which have not had a label set.

New Features:
• Selecting the attribute range by tapping the centre of a bank encoder in the tablet Focus Window has been extended from the bottom two encoders to all encoders. (Requires MagicQ v1.8.7.6).
• Force Tablet Mode has been replaced by Large Screen Mode and now allows the mode to be toggled on both small and large screen devices.
• A 'Display Views on MagicQ' settings has been added. When enabled, Win views displayed will also be displayed in MagicQ.
New Features:
• A switch has been added to the Settings Window to force the app into Tablet Mode and display the more detailed combined Key & Focus Window. This switch is useful if the device is reporting a screen size smaller than its actual size.
Bug Fixes:
Automatic WiFi switching for devices running Android 10 and above has been updated. When switching Wifi on connecting to a console you will now see a native Android dialog confirming that you wish to connect to the console.
Fixed colour picker data being requested when colour picker not selected. Previously when pressing Select Fan in the MagicQ colour picker the app would switch the selection to Select Single. #0025458
New Features:
Tapping the centre of a bank encoder in the Focus View will allow the attribute range to be selected (Requires MagicQ v1.8.7.6).
Colour page 2 attributes are now available in the Focus View bank on tablet (Requires MagicQ v1.8.7.9).
Switching Window on MagicQ Remote no longer causes the same window to be displayed on MagicQ (Requires MagicQ v1.8.8.0).

Bug Fixes:
Fixed bug where an ‘update available’ notification could be displayed on the connection list if a beta version was being run with a higher API version.
Fixed issue if the remote app is sending messages to MagicQ during startup.
Fixed Android remote not connecting to console WiFi when SSID is hidden.

The Focus Window colour picker has been updated to use the new colour picker wheels.
Fine mode is now turned off when you switch attribute bank.
The Connection View now displays when a newer version of MagicQ is available. Also displayed in a popup notification.
The Help View now displays the MagicQ version of the connected device.
Information on the connected device is now added to support emails.
